Welcome to Custom Audio Reimagined (C.A.R.), Indiana's most experienced custom automotive shop located 15 minutes from Lafayette, Indiana. I have created this website and company as a sort of return back to the industry I love. My name is Cabe Sipes and I have been involved in Car Audio for over 20 years and loved every minute of it. I have taken the past 4 years away from the industry due to my family and the decline of the industry as a whole. I have recently come to terms with the fact that I am a happier person when I am under a dash or designing something related to the 12 volt industry and because of that have decided to step back into the "Public" side of customizing.

To clarify, I have not stopped building cars but have been only accepting corporate vehicles as opposed to the general public. While it is fun working on exotic vehicles and having large budgets I have found myself feeling a complete disconnect from the industry. The best days of my installing career were spent as a Best Buy installer because of the comradery between myself and the other installers. This eventually led to competing in DB Drag events and attending shows regularly. Even after years of being on TV and making it as a cast member on MTV's Pimp My Ride. I still miss those days of staying up all night and brainstorming on how we can make a car louder and then devoting weeks to building it. The craziest thing is we did all of that for FREE! We didn't do it for money or fame but we did it because it was fun and exciting. That's what I want to find again and if anybody else feels the same then feel free to reach out to me.
