This little bit will save you alot of frustration and keep you from cutting yourself with a razor on accident. Will cut out a perfect circle and create a perfect "plug" that can be saved. This will allow you to plug the hole with a perfect fitting piece. 
 
Please consider if you cannot control a razor blade. Once you cut too much there is no fixing the grommet.
